After Korean War, Mangwallsa temple lied in ruins and at that time logging was prohibited for forestation. However, master Choon-sung logged trees for reconstruction of the temple and was asked to report at a local police station for investigation. The police superintendent asked him about his place of register. Thereupon, he shouted loudly, "Father's cock." The policeman was surprised and said to him again, "I asked your home town."
